Hummus Recipe

Hummus recipe is basically  made with boiled chick peas and tahini. Comes from middle eastern to our cuisines and it is usually serving as a starter, cold appetizer, I think the most delicious way of boiled chickpeas.

Making this recipe seems challenging but it is not. Put all ingredients into your food processor and process, that’s it. Challenging part of it, is peeling the chick peas. Pelling makes the hummus more smooth but really it is not necessary. Not a lot of difference between peeled and non-peeled one. I hope you will try, see the notes below.

Loves,

NOTES:

  • For the measurement cups which i use please look at “measurements” .
  • Makes 2 serves.
  • You can use canned chickpeas while you are doing the hummus, and you can boil your chickpeas in a pressure cooker at home.
  • For a more juicy consistency you can add a few spoonfuls of water, tahini or olive oil.
